Anticipated Reads Week

I’ve been under the weather the past couple of weeks. I haven’t felt like reading. That’s when I know I’m sick. Now that I’m on the mend my hope is to have regular blogs up each week.
This week I want to post the books that I’m looking forward to reading. I want to add a few hours to my day just for reading. If only, that was possible. There are so many great books to read and just not enough time.
What books do you anticipate reading?

So Many Books, Not Enough Reading Time

I’m really enjoying Don’t You Wish by Roxanne St. Claire. Definitely plan to finish it this weekend. Also, I need to finish up In His Sights by Tina Beckett. Then I’m looking forward to diving into Close Enough to Touch by Victoria Dahl.
So many books and not enough reading time.
What are you reading? How do you decide which book to read with so many great books to pick from?
Have a fabulous weekend! Happy reading!

Weekend Reading & Reading More Than One Book

I’m reading In His Sights by Tina Beckett as well as Don’t You Wish by Roxanne St. Claire. Since the books are different genres, I’m able to read both at the same time. I’m hoping for more time to read this weekend, but I won’t be holding my breath.
What are you reading? Do you every read more than one book at a time? Or are you a one book woman or man?

Reading Time

Since starting my new job, I don’t have as much time to read I would like. I’m working on making new habits to make sure I read everyday because I tend to get cranky when I don’t make time to read.
I’ve started reading one chapter before bed. Of course, I always have such a hard time reading just one chapter. It’s like eating only one chip.
I also read when I’m on the treadmill. Only lately I’ve found less time to get on the treadmill and when I do get on I find I’m doing other things like going through my many emails.
So, I’m still working on what will work best for me. I’m in need of some other ideas. Got any tricks or tips that work for you?

The Bradfords series by Erin Nicholas

I’m re-reading/reading the Bradfords series by Erin Nicholas to get ready for the release of Just for Fun and Just the Way I Like It.
I started re-reading Just Right. The book is even better the second time around. I’m looking forward to reading Just Like That and Just My Type. These two have been patiently waiting for me to read on my kindle for far too long.

Weekend Reading – About Last Night

Image via Ruthie Knox’s website

I’m reading About Last Night by Ruthie Knox. My plan is to finish it this weekend. It’s a great read. I just haven’t had a chance to read the past couple days.
This week has been busy so I’m also behind in TV shows. I’m planning to get all caught up with them too.
What are you reading, watching, or doing this weekend?

TV Shows Season Finales

The month of May brings season finales for ABC and CBS TV shows. Years ago these finales meant a summer of repeat episodes so I would have a summer of reading.
A few years ago, USA Network began airing TV shows that hooked me in the summers. Add in a show or two on TNT that I watch and my summers are now spent watching TV as well as reading.
I love the TV shows and find it hard not to watch them. The downside is I don’t have the time to read in the summer like I used to. I’m attempting to find a happy balance between the two this summer.
Do you prefer to read or watch TV? Or are you like me and try to balance both? Are you looking forward to the season finales of your favorite shows?
