No Change

The good news is I didn’t gain any weight this week. The bad news is I didn’t lose any weight. Exactly the same as last week’s weigh in. Family events and eating out last week made staying in points range difficult. However, I didn’t gain any so I’m happy. Add in that I have now exercised everyday for the last three weeks and I’m one happy lady.

E is Easier . . . Well Sort Of

This past week I managed to drop another 1.8 pounds. I did better on staying in my points range. Plus, I’ve exercised everyday.
For two weeks, I’ve exercised daily. That’s huge for me. I’ve done so well I don’t want to miss a day because it will ruin my track record. The exercising does get easier everyday.
I told myself I could do anything for 21 days. I challenged myself to exercise in some way for 21 days. I have 7 days left. I feel like I have accomplished big things by staying on track.
What helps you to exercise and eat better?

The Horrible E Word Isn’t So Bad

Last week, I set a goal to get active everyday. Okay, I’ll say it . . . to exercise everyday. Shockingly, it wasn’t as bad as I imagined it would be. By the end of the week, I had done so well with being active I didn’t want to ruin my progress. It was a great motivator.
I’m proud to admit I lost 3.2 pounds over the last week. I am doing Weight Watchers as well. I just started back actually keeping track of my points and doing better about what I eat. Exercising helped me to lose even more than just counting my points.
I feel better when I’m actually doing Weight Watchers and exercising. I can tell a difference in just a week.
It’s so hard to lose weight and keep it off when there are so many foods that taste delicious but aren’t good for us on a regular basis. Fast food is so easy and tempting. Don’t get me started on the scrumptious cheddar pretzels that are my downfall. I have to resist buying them when I go grocery shopping.
What do you do to lose or maintain your weight?

Woo to the Hoo! 5 Pounds Less

I’m happy to report I reached my 5 pound milestone in weight loss. I’ve lost a total of 6.4 pounds. There have been ups and downs to reach this milestone. They were all worth it.

I had to remember when I didn’t stay on track to not get down on myself. I just had to do better tomorrow. I still have a few more pounds to go to reach my weight goal. The amazing feeling of reaching 5 pounds will stay with me.

Back on Track

I’ve managed to get back on track with eating better. This week shows I lost 1.6 pounds for the week with a total loss of 4.4 pounds. Most important is I can tell a difference in how my clothes fit and that makes it all worth it.

The key to losing weight is to keep eating better. Times will come when you eat things you shouldn’t, but you can always get back on track. Remember to not feel guilty when you get off track. Just be determined to work your way back on track.

Eating Splurges

This past week hasn’t been the greatest with keeping in my points. On Saturday, my dad, my sister, and I had a rare night out with just the three of us. So, I splurged on my food. I don’t feel one moment of guilt over it. That’s the great thing about changing the way I eat. If I eat better the majority of the time, I don’t feel guilt about the times I choose to splurge.

I did manage to lose a little over the past week. Here’s planning for an even better week.
